Basic Allworx Handset Troubleshooting
If you are having an issue with a phone, try performing these basic functions to validate the necessity of the support request.
1. Have you rebooted the phone?
2. Have you tried the phone with a different known working port?
3. Have you connected the phone directly to the LAN port of an Allworx server?
4. Have you performed a factory reset on the device?
(Select Config, then use the down arrow to select Set Factory Defaults, press Enter.)
5. Have you removed and reconfigured the station on the server?
6. Have you verified power to the phone?
7. Have you verified that the handset jack is plugged into a handset port and not a headset port?
