Call Transfer Procedures -
One Touch Transferring

(Allworx 7.4 Feature)

With this feature comes new call transfer procedures which may confuse users. Transferring calls to other parties is now completed differently.

Note: A new "Xfer" softkey will now appear on the handset after you hit the "Transfer" button and can also be used to initiate the transfers.
Performing a One-Touch Transfer
If your phone is configured for One-Touch transfers and if it has BLF (busy lamp field) keys configured for other extensions.
  1. Press the BLF key for the intended recipient of the transfer.
  2. Hang up or wait on the line, announce the transfer and hangup.
Performing Dialed Transfer
  1. Press the Transfer button. (The current call is placed on hold).
  2. At the dial tone, dial the extension of the intended recipient of the transfer.
  3. Hang up or wait on the line, announce the transfer, and hangup.

Performing Legacy Unannounced (Blind) Transfers
If your phone is configured to use the legacy unannounced transfer method use the following procedure to perform the transfer:
  1. Press the Transfer button. (The current call will be placed on hold).
  2. At the dial tone, dial the extension of the intended recipient of the transfer.
  3. The call is immediately transferred.
