Note: Before you use the steps below you should have a good understanding of how the calls are being routed to the handset you want to blink and not ring. At good place to look is (Phone System --> Outside Lines). This is where all calls come into the Allworx system and get routed depending on the type of telephone service.
1. Login to the Allworx Administration page.
2. Click on Extensions under the “Phone System” section
3. Find the system extension that is setup as a ring group and click on “View Call Routes”
4. In the call route section click modify
5. Under the “First connection attempt” section find the handset you want and change. In the the rings section, change the rings to display (no ring). This will cause the phone’s call appearance to blink, but the phone will not ring for any calls that go to this system extension.
