There is no limit on how many computers you install Call Assistant on.
Call assistant does require a feature key in the Allworx server.
Call assistant requires windows operating system.
The first step to using Call Assistant is to install it on a computer. The call assistant PC software will be provided to you at the time the feature key is issued. To find out if you have the feature key installed, or to enter a new feature key, go to the Allworx Administration page and click on “Feature Keys” in the maintenance section.
Note: When logging in, the application is associated with the logged in user's handset. The Handset and Call Assistant PC need be on the same subnet. Ask your network administrator if you are not sure. Call Assistant 2.4 is required when using server software release 7.3. It is NOT compatible with 7.2 server software.
When starting Call Assistant, log in with the “Login Name” that is associated with the user and use the password assigned to their voicemail. (e.g. 1234)
When you are logged in, the Presence display on your phone will be surrounded by dashes
(e.g. –In Office- ).
