If an Allworx IP phone is not displaying the time and date, it can be fixed by logging into the network settings of the phone.
Before you begin you will need your phone administration password and ‘Time Server’ IP address.
A good NTP server you can use is "us.pool.ntp.org"
Be sure the ‘Clock Mode’ is active in your phone
Press Config -> Preferences -> Clock Mode
You should now see the time and date.
If the allworx phones are displaying the wrong time. Check the "Maintenance" --> "Time" section for a misconfiguration.

- Next, press the “Config” softkey on your Allworx IP phone.
- Arrow down to “Network settings”, press the Check button on the right side of the screen.
- Enter the phone admin password and then press Check
- Arrow down to “Edit Time server IP”, press the Check
- Enter the time server IP address / Domain Name, use * for the ‘dot’ in the IP Address.
- Press the Check button then ‘Exit’, then ‘Exit’ again, and then ‘Save to flash’.
- Reboot your Allworx phone
