The buttons on the right hand side of an allworx ip phone are called programmable function key or (PFK's).
1. Log-in to the Allworx administration page, by opening a web browser, and entering the ip address of the allworx system. (http://XXX.XXX.XXX:8080)
2. Navigate to “Phone System” --> ”Handsets”
3. Find the Allworx Handset you wish to modify from the list. Then click on the “View Configuration”
link.

- If you don’t know the IP address, talk to your system administrator.
- The default IP address for the Allworx system is 192.168.2.254, but is often changed.
- Remember you must enter (http://) and (:8080) to get to the administration page.
2. Navigate to “Phone System” --> ”Handsets”
- This will open the handsets page, which will display all the handsets that are registered with the allworx system.
3. Find the Allworx Handset you wish to modify from the list. Then click on the “View Configuration”
link.
- This will open the Handset configuration page. From here you can apply a template, save a template, and configure the programmable function keys for the handset.
- To program the function keys, click on the “Modify” link, which is next to “Programmable
- Function Keys” Label.
- From here you can program each key on the Allworx phone.
- If you have more than one column of keys, use the left and right links to switch between columns.
