Recording Auto Attendant Greetings
​as a Recording Manager

With system software 7.6 Allworx added the roll of "Recording Manager" to allow specific users to manage the greetings of specific Auto Attendants. 

Adding the recording manager roll to the user:
  1. Navigate to Phone system > Users
  2. Find the user you wish to manage and click "Modify"
  3. Scroll down to "Recording Manager"
  4. Place a checkmark in the box for the Auto Attendant you wish to give the user permission to manage
  5. Click "Update"
Manage recordings:
  1. From any phone dial 404
  2. Login to the message center as the user with the new roll, using their extension number and PIN
  3. press 9 to manage recordings
  4. select the auto attendant you wish to manage 1 - 9
Note: if you select the wrong Auto Attendant number, the system will tell you that the selection is invalid
