When replacing a handset it may be necessary to transfer the current configuration and PFK assignments to a different Allworx handset.

Before a handset can be replaced, its replacement must have been added to the system. The "Replacement Handset" list box contains a list of handsets that can be used to replace the Original Allworx Handset. 

1. Log into the Allworx Administration page. 
2. Click on “Handsets” in the Phone System Section 
3. Find the handset you want to replace from the list and click the “Replace” link 
4. Select the replacement handset from the dropdown list and click replace. 

The original handset's settings will be transferred to the replacement handset and then the original handset will be deleted from the system. PFKs defined on the original handset will be copied, in order, up to the number of PFKs allowed on the replacement handset.
