SIP Service and Port Mapping /
Forwarding through Third Party Firewall

If, you are not using the WAN Port on the Allworx Server, make sure your system is set to "LAN Host" mode in "Network > Configurations". If you are using a third party firewall on the subnet between the Allworx server and the Internet, you must Map / Forward these ports in the firewall to the fixed LAN IP of the Allworx Server:
  • 2088 (UDP)
  • 5060 (UDP)
  • 8081 (TCP)
  • 15000-15511 (UDP)
If you are utilizing remote handsets, or SIP Service, you will need to disable "SIP ALG" AKA "SIP Translation" AKA "SIP helper" to allow the phones audio communications to work correctly.
