Some telephone service providers have a feature to forward calls using a * code and the phone number. In order to do this, you need to first grab your main line directly.
When you normally dial 9 to dial out, the Allworx is still listening for digits. When you dial 9# you get right on the line.
Last, you may need to reboot your IP phone for it to get those new settings. Then dial 9# to get out, and then your * code from there.

- In your Allworx system under “Phone System” click “Dial Plan” and then down to “Service Groups”.
- Click add a new service group, and only include your main line in the group.
- Then, back on the Dial Plan page, you will see the section for “External Dialing Rules”.
- You will see the option for “Outside line Seizure – 9#”
- Click Modify, and in the drop down box for 9#, choose that new service group with the main line.
