(V 7.5 and Higher) Recording 
Allworx Auto Attendant Greeting
​From Phone

Version 7.5 and newer of the Allworx Management Software require users to go through their message center mailbox to make changes to their Auto Attendant Greetings.

NOTE: It is important to make sure that those who are allowed to make the changes have the permissions for the Auto Attendant they are trying to record enabled.

If you are running version 7.5, you will need to make sure they are marked as a phone administrator (Business --> Users --> Modify selected user, make selection under Role --> Update).

If you are running version 7.6, you will select the recordings the specific phone is allowed to manage. (Business --> Users --> Modify User, make selections under Recording Manager--> Update)

Then, to make the changes through the Allworx message center, follow these instructions

• Call into the Allworx message center mailbox
• Enter the mailbox password
• Select Option 9
• Make the choice for the greeting to record and follow the prompts
