Important Tech Tip
Allworx has recently isolated conditions and processes that may affect the long-term performance of Allworx 6x and 6x12 CompactFlash® (CF) cards and power supplies. In conjunction with this review we are introducing software enhancements designed to optimize the performance reliability of Allworx servers that may have been affected. These enhancements have been implemented in all of the System Software releases listed below.
We highly recommend that you upgrade to one of these system software versions expeditiously.
NOTE: if you are a TCE Company Allworx MSP Client, we are already in the process of performing these enhancements to your Allworx system.
1. Allworx System Software 188.8.131.52
This is a special release of version 8.1 with only critical fixes. It does not include some changes that are in the 8.2 and 8.3 releases. It includes:

Note: Any servers running either release 18.104.22.168 or release 22.214.171.124 will be unable to install any software updates using Option 1, Download update from web. To upgrade an affected site, download the appropriate 126.96.36.199 zip file from the Portal Software page to the service PC or contact an authorized Allworx Partner to obtain the file. After unzipping the downloaded file, perform the installation from the server's Update page using Option 2, Upload update from PC. Subsequent to updating from either of the affected releases to Release 188.8.131.52 or higher, updates will again be possible using the "Download update from web" option.
